Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

C3 Fit is a program designed to help our church become even more committed to living in Circle Three. Our goal is to fully surrender all aspects of our lives to God, including our bodies and health. C3 Fit will include sermons, activities, and contests to help our church adopt a healthier lifestyle. We want to treat our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit by taking care of them to the best of our abilities.
To launch C3 Fit, we will be having a team weight loss competition. The focus of C3 Fit is not solely on weight loss but rather increasing health and fitness. Since weight is directly related to health, a weight loss competition will be a fun and motivating way to get healthier and track progress.
The weight loss competition starts on June 5th and will last 12 weeks. In a battle between men versus women, the victor will have to prepare a pot luck and serve the other. Anyone can join at his/her own discretion, regardless of age or fitness level.
Weight loss will be tracked as a percentage of body weight lost as a team. Each member will do individual weigh-ins, and then the total team weight and percentage weight loss will be calculated. Initial weigh-ins will be held on June 5th and will be done every 2 weeks after that until the final weigh-in on August 28th. Weigh-ins will be done every other Sunday from 9:15-9:45 am and directly after the service. In order to protect privacy, the same person will do weigh-ins each time on a one-on-one basis. No individual weights or weight loss percentages will be made public. Only team weight loss percentages will be posted. Whatever team has the greatest weight loss percentage at the end of 16 weeks will be the C3 Fit Champion.
Even if you do not want to join the weight loss competition, you can still be a part of C3 Fit. We want to encourage everyone to make healthier choices from eating better to becoming more physically active. Therefore, we will be having activities to get everyone involved.
